Buford, GA, June 12, 2006 - Gill North America, famous for its foul-weather gear, has developed a new IN5 cruising line of high-performance marine apparel as well as Key West and Atlantic jackets that provide excellent weather protection for all boaters, from the inshore cruiser to the ocean voyager and racer.
New for 2006 is the IN5Cruise Jacket and Cruise Trousers, primarily designed for coastal, inshore wear and both pieces are versatile all-around gear for inshore and general boating as well.
Gill also has improved its famous OS5 Key West Range by giving it a high level of breathability with its 3 Dot ™, two-layer fabric that protects against all types of abrasion. Gill's OS4 Atlantic Jacket is a favorite for ocean boaters who appreciate the full protection of the high wrap-around face guard and the stowaway hood that helps them stay dry even in the wettest conditions.
For ocean boaters on deck for long periods in harsh weather, Gill Atlantic Range offers the highest degree of storm protection. First introduced in 1984, this sixth generation of the Atlantic Jacket is made from a highly breathable and durable 3-layer 5 Dot fabric that protects against abrasion.

Men's IN5 Coast Range: IN5 Coast Cruise Jacket: - Versatile, stylish jacket for coastal cruising, inshore and general boating. The IN5 Coast Cruise Jacket is made from breathable, waterproof Nylon Tactel Oxford Weave--Gill's lightweight 3 Dot™ fabric. Fully taped seams that guarantee a waterproof finish. Innovative feature on roll-away hood enables wearer to adjust hood volume for an improved fit. High, offshore-height collar with wrap-around face guard and durable storm flap provides excellent weather protection, even in the wettest conditions. Large, bellowed cargo pockets keep essentials close at hand. High-visibility reflective piping included.

IN5 Coast Cruise Trousers- Fully lined trousers match IN5Cruise Jacket and provide an ideal balance of durability, breathability, weight and feel that is perfect for inshore/coastal use. Waterproof, with breathable 3 Dot™ fabric and taped seams. Designed to offer protection from variable, unpredictable weather conditions, the trousers have seals at ankle cuffs and a front zipper with internal gusset for wet weather protection. Adjustable, elasticized braces and articulated knees and legs offer increased freedom of movement.

Fully taped seams and a secure lining ensure that a wearer stays dry and comfortable, with adjustable inner PU and outer cuffs that prevent water from seeping in. Colors/Sizes: Black/Storm and Red/Storm Gray, both available in sizes XS-XXL OS4 Atlantic Trousers- Made from 5-Dot waterproof & breathable three-layer fabric, the Atlantic Trousers are designed for extended use over many days or weeks in harsh climates and conditions. Protection against wet weather is found in a front two-way zipper with internal gusset for wet weather protection. Performance cut offers comfortable, full storm protection and is easily worn over several layers for extended periods of times without being cumbersome or creating extra windage. Secure thigh pocket with water-resistant zipper protects important items, while large capacity, angled cargo pockets are easy to access and are fleece-lined to keep hands warm. Extended wear protection on knees and lower legs, with fully adjustable ankle closures. Semi-elasticized waist offers improved fit, while articulated legs with a performance cut provides great freedom of movement.

For 2006, new improvements to the Key West Jacket include constructing it from the 3 Dot™, two-layer fabric that gives it a new level of breathability and a greater level of durability. A new hood design with an improved fit is made to move with the head. Waterproof seams, water-resistant YKK pocket zippers and double-cuffs protect against wet conditions, while the brushed mesh lining, high-cut collar and fleece handwarmer pockets provide comfort against the cold. Additional convenient features: zippered internal security pocket, large angled cargo pockets, high-visibility reflective piping.
Men's Colors/Sizes: Black/Storm and Blue/Storm, both available in sizes XS-XXL; Red/Storm in sizes S-XXXL; Yellow/Navy/Silver in sizes XS-XXL. Men's OS5 Key West Trousers- Reinforced on the knee and seat, the Key West Trousers feature pre-shaped knees and adjustable braces for a perfect fit that allows full range of movement. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets are a welcome addition on a cold day, providing comfort and convenience. Waterproof, breathable with fully taped seams and ankle cuffs.
Colors/Sizes: Storm Gray, in sizes XS-XXL Women's OS5 Key West Drop Seat Trousers- With a cut made to fit a women's shape, the trousers also have an elasticized waist to ensure a flattering fit. Drop seat feature allows wearer to use side zipper to drop the seat without removing shoulder braces. Waterproof seams and ankle cuffs keep water out, while fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets offer additional comfort. Knees and seat are reinforced for extra protection. Reflective prisms on front of trousers are also included.
