They have eliminated their sailing equipment sales lines. Generally low prices for satisfactory to poor quality power/general boating goods. Staff knowlege is very poor. Online sales are very well done. Look to Ebay for surplus sailing gear at OK prices for a short while.

Boater's World is not my first choice for things I need. They just don't have the inventory and they usually don't have the quality brand that I'm looking for. Off-brand products just don't hold up as well in a saltwater environment. Sometimes BW will offer really good deals but West Marine will price match any other retailer's published price. Happy sailing!

We've checked prices at West Marine and at Boater's World. Invaribly we can save a few $$ by going to Boater's World. And those few $$ in a year's time can really add up!
