Fawcett's carries the local nickname of "Tiffany's" and has earned it in every category except pricing. Prices are usually competitive with the chains and online retailers and their winter sale prices are unbeatable. Customer service, knowledge of the sales force and selection are, well, Tiffany's.

Fawcett's is an Annapolis institution. Sign up to open an account with them (free) and you get anywhere from 5-20 percent off their prices, making them very competitive with other retailers. What separates Fawcett's from the others: extremely knowledgeable staff, in-store rigging shop that does excellent work, and they stock many hard to find items. Also, free parking on their lot, and free dockage for your boat while you shop. Only knock is that they don't sell electronics.
