The North Sails loft in Salem, Ma. does an excellent job be it working on sails, listening to you, and giving advice. They enjoy what they do and they do it extremely well.

Just ordered my another Genoa from North ( my 4th sail from them).Checked pricing from 3 other makers and North was competitive. They've given me great service over the last 5 years and their sails have performed well. They have been avaiable for advice and guidance as needed.

Chicago Loft has excellent service. Each loft is a bit different due to management and staff. This location is quite good. I have only had repairs done there to date. They have the lowest service rate in Chicago area and the work is very good.

I took my sails to the local loft near Shilshoal Marina for inspection and repair. Not only did it cost a lot, but they couldn't find them when they said they'd be done. When they did find them, nothing had been done to the sails. When I returned at the next promised date I paid and picked them up. When I got to the boat and tried to put them up they were maybe half done with un-sewn seams and un-completed gromets. NEVER AGAIN!

We purchased a new mainsail for our 1979 SanJuan 28. They did a great job esplaining our options and helping us pick the best sail for our needs and price range. THey also stiched up our old one for a backup! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and the turnaround was very quick!
