We bought a new mainsail from Hood's Sausalito loft last January. They offered very reasonable pricing (not the cheapest, but not the most expensive by a long shot). The service was outstanding. The local rep (Greg Nelson) came out and measured the boat. Robin Sodaro (at the loft) spent a lot of time with us on the phone (on several occasions) answering our questions and making sure he understood what we needed. The sail was made in the US and was actually delivered early! There was a small problem with the slugs that was addressed promptly and cheerfully. The performance of the new sail is excellent. The only downside is that the new main makes our headsail look a little tired. If we replace it we will use Hood again.
