I have had Steve make repairs on existing sails, and make new sails for me since 1973. He has consistently given me good advice on getting the most out of my sails, and techniques for achieving First Place during my years of racing. When I wanted cruising sails for liveaboard cruising, he helped me change my thinking to adapt to the new lifestyle, and convinced me to try a full batten main, and I'm really glad I listened! He also built me a cruising spinnaker that was very easy to handle. I can't say enough about the overall experience and the customer service. I'll always go to Haarstick Sailmakers for my new sails, and repairs. *Don't bother Steve if you just want the cheapest set of rags. I paid premium prices for premium products and service. Steve's warranty, as published, is "1 year", but in actuality, any shortcoming of his sails that develops due to labor or quality of materials goes on MUCH longer.
